Oh my
god! A whole page all about me!!! Hello! Allo! My name is Melissa and this is my web site. I am a grade 12 student in Canada where I live with my parents, brother and my dog, Tipper. I really don't have all that much to say. Except that I started this page because I am currently taking a Web Page Design program at a local community college and I bought FrontPage in order to take advantage of what I was learning. It didn't take me long to make up my mind about the topic of this web site. After six months on the internet, on my computer and at the library, my 44 page baby was complete. I happily went to school, excited about seeing what the other students had done.
All my work was in vain!!!!! I felt like crying... Well, that is the purpose of this web site: to make use of my hard work. I hope you enjoy it. Melissa

Last year I took a course called Planitary History at school. For that class we
had to write a final project and do an hour-long presentation in front of the
class. I had always been interested in Russia, so I decided to do it on the
history of that country. If only I knew then the work I was getting into...
Boy,
was I dissapointed. In the class of 20 people, the longest project (aside from
me) was 16 pages. I felt like such an idiot. My head dropped on the desk when my
teacher reminded us that this project would receive a PASS or FAIL mark; pass if
you did it, fail if you didn't.
